CurricuLLM includes built-in abuse filtering to block unsafe, harmful, or restricted questions before they are sent.

How it works

• If a message is blocked, CurricuLLM will show a notice:

  “Your message was blocked by content filter rules. If you believe this has been in error, please try again.”

• The message will not be sent to the system, and no response will be generated.

• This applies to both teachers and students, to keep all conversations safe.

What to do if a message is blocked

• Check your wording → Sometimes a harmless question might trigger a filter because of a particular word or phrase. Rephrase it in a clearer or more neutral way.
• Stay curriculum-aligned → Keep questions linked to the subject and year level you are working on.
• Ask for help if needed → If you think a filter is being triggered incorrectly, let your school’s administrator know so they can review settings.
